Negativity?

Why is it that when you're doing something that someone else is not, they feel the need to make negative comments or talk shit. Do people really hate to see someone doing good for themselves THAT much? I guess there will always be critics.

I just learned to ignore people,just not worth stressing over assholes..Doesn't matter if you're doing good or not,someone somehow or some way will try dragging ya down....
 
I thought maybe he was referring to Richard Sherman. Just like Michael Crabtree, Sherman didn't catch that last ball either.

I hear you OP. I think some people feel being negative shows a toughness but it really exposes a weakness. Keep smilin' and stand strong. A genuine smile will either soften them or piss them off more but either way you'll keep moving forward.

It's just always made me wonder... Whenever somebody tells me their plans, I don't mock them, talk shit or make jokes. Basically I'm trying to further myself and create my own income rather than continue with the same shit different day routine. A lot of people will hate me along the way. Even "friends". I don't plan on letting the weak minded get in my way.

Sometimes it's just pure jealousy. Sometimes, however, the other person can actually bring it on themselves. It depends on how they present themselves...if they are constantly bragging about the great things going on in their life (almost using it to try to make others feel smaller or worse about their own position, or to impose a sense of superiority over someone else), then I think the negativity is warranted. Just how I feel. I'm perfectly happy when good things happen in people's lives, but don't lord it over me every time. I'm sure we all have known people who have done that...some more than others.
 
I piss excellence and shit rainbows........ and yet people dont like me because of it.... its their problem not mine...... let them point...just remember when they point at you they have 3 fingers pointing back at them........ To me the best motivator in the world is when someone tells me I cant do it, or thats impossible. you know what got me thru Aircrew/SAR school? when they told me "you cant do it." nothing better than a "Fuck you I win." when they tell you that :D I wish you great success in whatever it is your trying to Achieve. You go out there and "get some."
