need to get rid of a pickup truck cap, anyone have ideas?

off a 2000 silverado long bed, windowless sides, red, clearcoat is peeling, rear flip window frame is loose, needs to be fixed, I just have no reason to fix, no truck, and no intention of putting it on a truck even if I bought one
 
Take a pic, put it on CL and say

"Cap that came off of *insert model here*, I don't know what else it will fit. I will not help you load it. It's free, here's some pictures, it's out on the curb, come and get it. I will not reply to emails, will not hold it for anybody, that's it. Come and get it"

NOTE: I tell them how to get into my street, but I wouldn't post my actual address

FWIW.....I have found that "free" Craigslist ads are much more trouble than there worth.

A simple Craigslist ad listing it for $25 or $50 will have it gone, hassle free in short order.

I'm starting to think craigslist itself is more trouble than its worth....

It can be - for some. I have done a lot on CL over the last 12
years. I have a few rules I follow & those have served me very
well. I have never been burned on CL.

All things considered, CL is an incredible, effective & FREE
classified service for both buying & selling.
