I have a 1995 Mustang GT that you might have seen in the for sale section. I have decided to keep the car and fix it. The first thing that I need done is a tune. I was wondering if there is anyone that can and will tune my car or know anyone who tunes. I can give more detail I cant really bring it to a shop since I have no way of getting it there. I can not drive the car the way that it sits now. So I was wondering if there is anyone that will come to my house and tune the car.

Thank You
Sam

you will need to tow it to a shop. I dont think any shops will bring a portable dyno to your house and tune it. I would suggest Alternative, Lidio is the man when it comes to 5.0L's

There was I guy that I talked to and said that he would come to the house and tune it for me. So I wasnt sure if that was possible or not. I thought that I would have to get it tuned at a shop. The problem is that I dont know how much it would cost and I work so much I never really have time. I will have to get a day off soon then. So you say take it to Alternative Auto then thats where it will go. I have heard some good things about there. I hope that is the problem with the car. People tell me that it needs to be tuned that is why it runs rough and idles up and down. I hope their right.

Typically a modified 5.0l heads. cam, intake ect.. will have idle surge problems, alot of times can be fixed by simply setting the TPS and adjusting the idle with the IAC unplugged. Lidio does a good job with all driveability and not just WOT tuning. My car idles great revs smooth and has good WOT performance. A tune from lidio will run about 550 and I think that includes upto 4 hours of dyno time.

I cleaned it. Didn't make a diffrence. It will idle fine but when you go to take off it will hesitate and when slowing down the idle will go up and down. Some times when slowing down it will die if you dont give it any gas to keep the idle up. I thought the IAC as well so I cleaned it and nothing changed. Then poeple told me that it needed a tune that is why it is doing what it is doing.

Okay I will take it there then I just want the thing to run like it should. Here is a list of every thing that is done to the car.

BBK Stuff
Fuel Pressure regulator
Cold air intake
Underdrive pulleys
Lowering springs
Long tube headers

Trick Flow
Upper and Lower track heat intake
75mm elbow

Summit Racing
75mm throttle body
75mm MAF

Ford racing
e 303 cam

MGW
Short throw shifter

MSD
Cap and rotor
Coil

Flowmaster mufflers

And I think that is about it
