EDIT: The car had a bad Inline Fuel Pump- Car runs great now!!
So I went to look at a 96 Cobra (Mystic)today, the car has a vq-s trim kit on it and just recently a 03-04 6 speed installed.
Here is the problem, the car starts breaking up really bad around 4500-5k rpms and basically won't go any higher, the guy has receipts upon receipts from Lidio including tune & blower installation, the car idles and runs good but doesn't seem to make good power? The blower makes a small grinding noise while idling, he said it was just recently rebuilt by Vortech, also he blames the car for breaking up because of the recent trans swap, he doesn't have the converter box for the 6 speed trans to mechanical odometer.
Any info would be great, the car is for sale at a ridiculously low price with only 65k miles and a ton of upgrades (brakes,wheels,stereo system,wheels,etc) so I'm kinda scared something is wrong or the guy doesn't know what he has?
