Need some input...

I don't want to get into details about what leads me to this situation-so bear with me. My Dad needs to sell some cars (and ditch the 3 storage units the 63's are housed in), but refuses, so my Mom and I are taking matters into our own hands. Here is what he has, and what we're thinking of asking for price-wise:

1963 Mercury Monterey 2 door custom convertible (Gold), 390, auto (unrestored, needs a crank shaft, comes with a new convertible top)
$9,000

1963 Galaxie 500 (light blue metallic), hard top, parts car
$500

1979 Ford F350 (dark blue metallic/beige 2 tone), 4x4 (A/C, rebuilt 460 with cam, new carb, new brake lines, etc) Its not in need of resto- but the block and trans are currently out of the car. I'm working on getting some help to remedy that situation. God knows we need the garage space.
$4,000

The car I don't have the heart to make him get rid of is his 1963 Ford Galaxie 500XL convertible, 4 speed, 406 "tri-power" (3 2bbl carbs). It WOULD be a looker...but it very rough (body & frame)....I don't think he could get out of it what he has in parts alone.

Sooo....thoughts?

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Sacrifices sometimes need to be made whether someone likes it or not.

Thank you. Times are tough. If I explained the entire situation, you'd understand...but I don't want to embarass my family. I think we're being gernerous and understanding saying look, we don't expect you to sell ALL of them- but something has to give.

Now I'm thinking we should look into selling the camper too...we never get to use it and storage on that is even MORE expensive.

If you are going to sell the car, take lots of pictures and post them EVERYWHERE. Find some Mercury forums, craigs list,e-bay and such.

x2. Sorry it has to be this way for you and your family. I'm sure a lot of us can understand. Hope everything works out for the best. Good luck with the sales, and if you need help a lot of us have experience with using those sights, and making ads.
