Need some help motown for a friend in need...

Earlier this month a friend of mine suffered from a severe house fire that left him and his wife homeless living out of a motel, they lost everything including 3 family pets and one of their vehicles and since the house has been vacant it has been broken into and thieves stole anything and everything that wasnt burnt from the fire. Alot of you may know him or have heard his name in the past, his name is Marshall Bennett and he is a tattoo artist that works out of Eternal Tattoos in Eastpointe. If you have had the pleasure of knowing him or his wife Dawn Bennett you would know that they are two of the most honest and humble people you will ever meet and for this to happen to them is an absolute tragedy!

I wanted to get the word out for them because there are alot of great people on here so I\we can get them as much help as possible so attached is the info to send donations to help these two great people get through this horrible time. Ya it is a complete loss and he's currently dealing with the ins. company. Ya he's the only person that does my ink and he is nationally known for his talent, he does alot of traveling to conventions that pay him to come out and make an apearence and he really is one of the most humbled people you'll ever meet.

As a personal friend I can guarentee you he isnt at the hilton or something! He lived in a small house in eastpointe and just because he has notoriety it doesnt make you rich! Your're mistaken and I wish you had just left that comment to yourself. Merry Christmas!
 
was the house by 9/gratiot?? if it is we saw it burning from our work......thas terrible, i couldnt imagine going through that
 
we could see the smoke from my shop....i had to go to car quest to grab some air hose fittings and could see the flames from there......let me see if i can help them out. what size clothes do they wear?

For him a 38\32 pant and xl shirts and havent got info on his wife yet. Thanks!
 
Tim, did he have homeowners insurance? If so, they will cover EVERYTHING. Not trying to be an ass, but typically the insurance company on this type of loss will cut an immediate check fo $5K or so for essentials. They also cover board up, living expenses such as a place to stay while the home is being rebuilt/replaced. More likely than not, on such a fire, the insurance company will just cut a check for the content limits. Just asking, but is there some reason the insurance company would have denied coverage? Did he not have insurance? Again, not trying to be an ass but I think it's a fair question when money is being requested.

They did have insurance but they are being very slow to get them any support which is why the favor was asked, I dont know the exact specifics on whats goin on other then the ins. company waiting for an official cause before they will compensate my buddy and everything is coming out of pocket right now and since the place got broken into again the stress just keeps mounting for them. We haven't talked in a few days so i'm sure new things have gone on.
