So here's my dilemma. I need a truly professional tube bender that can make a couple filler a-pillar pieces on an old race car. The original a-pillar bars were cut out to fit a different shell on years ago but now the car is getting restored back to the way it was in 1970. The tubing is 1-3/4", not 100% on thickness but can check. Probably 1/8" or less. Mild steel. I can mig weld them in when they are bent/fit so no welding necessary. They must fit in a certain way and I can explain that and show photos of how it was before. The tough part is that the car is leveled in my garage and cannot be moved. Body is only partially attached as well. I have room in my garage where a portable bender can be moved in for the work. Is there anyone out there that can do this? I will try to post a picture in a minute so you can see what I'm referring to. Thanks for any advice!
