Need opinon's on aftermarket electric fans....

Well, I am getting to the point in my project I have to start looking for electric fans, but I really don't know what to run (like what kind of CFM's I will need, size, even though I did now that at one point....)

the only info I do know for sure is that I need pusher fans..(no room between the radiator and the engine) and I don't want fans with built in shrouds.. since I want to drive the car on the street,, and since Shrouds will lower the actual area air can pass though, I don't think that would be a good thing...

and the reason I say fans...is because I don't know if one pusher will be enough, since it will be my primary cooling source, and I don't want to find out to late that one won't cut it....

basically, looking at opinions on good fans....that are actually worth the price of buying, not some junker from autozone that won't last me 3 months.

the car will be a ford tempo with a SHO motor (200ish HP) running a stock SHO radiator. I have to run pushers because the exhaust manifold sits roughly about 1/2-3/4 of a inch away from the radiator. I am also thinking of wrapping up the stock exhaust manifolds...

shit I have a junker from autozone on my truck, (97 jimmy, .030 13:1 domes, headers, ported heads, custom spider injector) Works like a charm had it for 3 years now it's been to silver lake twice full of sand and it's been under water mutiple times I think they're very durable lol

youre not making much for power so it shouldnt be hard to find a fan that works but you need to tell us how much room you have to work with too.

I say junk because the last 3-4 times I have bought from autozone (and advance before that) has been a bad part, wrong part....etc.. and I usually end up not having the car running for another week while they have to order the parts.

room wise...depending how I mount the fans (directly to the radiator, or to the core support) I can basically get the highest clearance of 5 inch's all around (more in some area's, but just average it to 5.)

Just went out and took some measurements, I have 1ft 11 3/4 inch's across, and 1ft 2 1/2 inch from top to bottom to play with. so maybe one will have to do?

I guess my biggest question is how much CFM I should be looking for to make sure I don't over heat the motor.

93-95 ATX V6. the motor is rated at 220 HP, and the only acc. I will be is the water pump and alternator... so I am hoping the 200 HP number is at the wheels. (also doing more mods later on.)

witht he swap I am hoping for low 14's, high 13's (for now) and still being able to pull 25+ MPG (the other guy that did this was seeing 30+ on the highway)

no you dnt?

i have two proform ten inch fans as pushers on my 98 s10 with a pre 86 small block in it. i am pushing 425 hp. each one of the fans pushes 1000cfm and are reversible. i bought mine from jegs and each one was 49.99. it all depends on what your looking for i would say the more air that the fan can push the better. i know Becool makes some nice fans as well as flex a lite.

yeah, should be good with 2 10s. or a 10 and a 12, or maybe 2 12s staggered?

on 85 degree and up days i cant sit in traffic because i will over heat due to not having a vented hood so there is no air circulation at all under my hood except for the fans. but other then that my fans are perfect for what i need
