Looks like this

It's 12ish volt at idle and under 13v going down the road. Used to be 14v all the time.

Wiring Joe got me this one. But I can't get ahold of him to find out what it came off of to try n buy another.

Take it to my rebuilder on this side of town and I can get it inspected and rebuilt for you... Whatever my cost is...

J&P? It'll probably be Gary or Troy rebuilding it. Good friends of mine, great work.

Thats what I was thinking based on the wiring but haven't seen a case like that.

They used a couple different cases depending on the location of other accessories on the vehicle. Some had offset mounts and others had straight mounts. The only thing that throws me off is the unexposed stator.

Just sent the pic to a friend. He says it's either a 7127, 7273, or 7294 and that the model number depends on the amperage.

7294 is the highest amperage of the three at 94 amps. Most autoparts stores should have them in stock or can get them same day.

Is there a number anywhere on this thing, maybe on the back? Depending on what happens, I'm way out in Troy but may be able to swing that direction if need be.

It's usually same day turn around if all the parts are in stock at Marv's.

With what you know of the alt. now, you should be set for them to understand your needs.

So I when I went to leave it was totally dead.

Did my best roadkill.

Zip tied a lithium jump pack to the battery and hit it. 11v

20 ish miles to downriver Motorsports wiring.

Was at 10v at 75 and northline exit
Made the turn and there's a fucking train. Died in front of mallies bar.

Pushed it in the parking lot

Joe ran over and brought a battery and jump box. Still wouldn't start so we ended up like this

Mane my roadkill effort look very poor!

And had to jump it with his car!

But it got me to his shop about 1/2 miles away.

I guess the alt is just too small for all the shit I got. Blew the diodes apart and melted a few other things.

He took from this and that in his parts bin to get it back on the road. Just don't use the stereo. ;-D

Ordered a 140amp alt tha should be here tomorrow
Maybe

Long day for charity
