ok, long story short. I purchased some 5 lug rotors from a Lincoln, i think 86 Mark 7, i forget but Reiko might remember. I also got new bearing and seals.
Well, passenger side went in without a glitch...i think, im gonna recheck it tomorrow to check if its seated.
Now, the driver side is fucked up. Upon removal of the 4 lug rotor i noticed that the spindal had some nicks on it, I cant imagine what the previous owner did to it to make the nicks that he did. Anyways, when I install the rotor assembly on the spindal and tighten it down, its like the bolt is bottoming out and the rotor still isnt seated. I litterally have it as tight as it will go, and the rotor still rocks and isnt tight.
WTF is going on here? did i miss something? on the rear of the rotor, is the rear bearing suppose to be flush with the seal or in about 1/4 inch? is my front bearing going to deep ? maybe wrong front bearing or something?
thanks
