NEED HELP with 90 Mustang front rotors.....

ok, long story short. I purchased some 5 lug rotors from a Lincoln, i think 86 Mark 7, i forget but Reiko might remember. I also got new bearing and seals.

Well, passenger side went in without a glitch...i think, im gonna recheck it tomorrow to check if its seated.

Now, the driver side is fucked up. Upon removal of the 4 lug rotor i noticed that the spindal had some nicks on it, I cant imagine what the previous owner did to it to make the nicks that he did. Anyways, when I install the rotor assembly on the spindal and tighten it down, its like the bolt is bottoming out and the rotor still isnt seated. I litterally have it as tight as it will go, and the rotor still rocks and isnt tight.

WTF is going on here? did i miss something? on the rear of the rotor, is the rear bearing suppose to be flush with the seal or in about 1/4 inch? is my front bearing going to deep ? maybe wrong front bearing or something?

thanks

Take the rotor off that seems to fit ok and see how it is on the problematic side. If it feels good installed on the other side, I would make sure that you have the correct bearings.

i just dont undrestand this at all. i hope i didnt get the wrong rotors or something, im hoping its just a bearing issue or something.

Are you missing that big washer under the nut???

Shoot me a buzz later....I'll walk ya through it...

yeah i used the washer between the bearing and nut, but the nut tightens all the way down to the end of the threads, and the rotor still spins and is loose.
