Need help/info about a 2008 Ford Edge

Have a chance to buy one at a good price. It has about 50k miles loaded, leather, panoramic roof, etc. Gas mileage is not great at 16 city but whatever. Not familiar with Fords too much or the 3.5. Any known problems? Will it last? Any issues down the road? How is maintenance? Thanks for any help guys

We've had two MKXs (the Lincoln version of the Edge) and never had any issues. The 3.5 is a great motor. Decent power, decent economy.

wife has an 07 decent mileage, no issues besides she keeps finding nails with her tires and there's a little whistle from the panoramic roof.

I DD one and love this thing. Worn out 20's and AWD, it's still a beast in the snow.

my mom has one 07 140k nothing but oil changes and thing runs great, did plugs around a 120k had to pull the upper intake if i recall but not to bad, about 23-25 mpg on the hwy

my friend had one. Just traded it in with almost 100k on it and was sad she was getting rid of it.

We've had two of them. Both have been practical vehicles. It feels like a go cart after driving my 2500 pickup. :lol:
The first one we had had premature brake failure, but other than that seems to be pretty solid.
