Need help - Ford Escape electric fan

Within the past week or so I have noticed the electric fan on my 2010 Escape XLT V6 runs all the time, from first start to end. It runs regardless if the heat or AC are on and no matter what the engine temp is. Not sure if a fan controller or relay is bad, or even how to test something like that.

No codes, no leaks, everything else is working as it should. Anyone have some advice for what to start looking at?

Thanks in advance.

Just wanted to follow up to this in case anyone else has any issues with their Escape. So I trouble shoot all the usual suspects, temp sensors, relays, etc and talked to my buddy who is the parts manager at a dealership. Turns out that the AC system in the Escapes becomes contaminated with "pellets" that are dessicant in the AC dryer. The bag pellets end up bursting and therefore contaminates the entire system. There is no way to clean the individual componenets so you have to replace the entire AC system. The reason the fans were running on high all the time is because the pressure sensor senses low pressure in the system and sends a signal to run the fans on high full time. I tried turning on my AC and the clutch won't even engage on the compressor.

A quick Google search tells me that this is a fairly common problem and it is not a recall or TSB so an expensive fix is in the near future.

Follow up, Escape is at the dealer, the dealer and the customer service rep confirmed it is an issue with the AC system dryer. Ford Customer Service said they will pay for 50% of the repairs due to the defective AC dryer. So now I am only out $1250...FML
