just pm'ed darko, 2 minutes ago, I figured while I waited for his reply id ask you guys too..
I have a 99 sierra 1500 4x4 z71 5.3L. the truck has 3.73 gears in the rear.
I am looking for a complete rear end assembly, if I have to swap my brakes over to the new one so be it, but I don't want to tear into this one and change the gears etc. I need to be able to just drop the old, and replace with the new.
IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE NEW/PERFECT/ETC anyone who knows this truck knows its not worth a whole lot. but it IS my daily driver, and I have to drive it to Muskegon valentines day weekend, so its crunch time.
as long as the rear I replace it with doesn't make any noise, im good. the rear in my truck now sounds like its gonna come apart at any given moment.
