Need BMW HELP !!

I have a 2003 BMW 760il and seems to be misfiring. I've read up on a few things. The motor has no shake or smoke to it. I have now arming lights on. I understand that they may has an issue with the HPFP not delivering enough fuel. Any ideas ?? BMW wants to ass rape you just to call them.

I never took it to a BMW dealer and trust I would never do that. I was just stating the obvious. I don't know the fuel pressure and haven't checked yet. I thought I'd throw the question out first and see if anyone has run into this. You guys know a independent BMW shop ?
 
Replace the fuel filter (using Mann, Mahle, or Pentius brand). It should have the regulator built into it. Last few I've done either had a gunked up regulator or rotted vac-ref line to it. Even if its just a simple rotted line, just be proactive and replace the filter assembly as well.
