Need Advice

When you lose (and you will lose), you can appeal the courts decision to the Macomb County Circuit Court for an actual unbiased judge. I've done this once in Wayne County and had my ticket dismissed (while the city attorney and cop were there) because the same cop railroaded his daughter :) . In the end it cost me the $6 appeal fee.

BUT, have all your ducks in a row. If you have a witness (like the other driver), bring him in.

Most local courts will plead down a drag ticket to a 3-point speeding ticket or careless driving (4-points). Usually drag racing is a 6-point ticket. This can cost you a lot. Lawyer fees or Driver Reponsibility fees, not to mention the cost of insurance over three years.

x2, the only way you can cruise gratiot and not get ticketed is to be a local resident, or know a Cop. its basically the out-of-towners tax. Last time I cruised there was in probably 2002, got followed in my STS for 10 minutes, cop ticketed me for drag racing, failure to signal, speeding, and unsafe start...

luckily my uncle was a retired roseville cop and the ticket dissappeared, but I havent gone back since

car runs low 12's. im not a fan of the body kit, but he bought it that way. he had it painted, and then dropped about 8 grand into the motor.

I'm actually surprised I never got a ticket or accident while on gratiot for the 2-3yrs that I cruised there. I did some stupid ass stuff too.
 
Unless you have a camcorder in your car, you're screwed.

You'll never win in the courts. Get a dash cam. I'm going to put one in my car before this summer.
 
get a lawyer, fight it, get impeading traffic if your lucky cause the only thing roseville wants is money. and josh in the green car is retarted he doesnt even know anything about cars.
 
They really want the money. You can probably get it knocked down as far as the racing but your still gonna pay.

yeah ive talked to him a couple times it would be a nice car but i cant stand listening to him tell me its going twin turbocharged through a ported supercharger and that the motor is bored and stroked to the max and should run 9's lol

Yeah he really doesnt know much about his own car, but dont make fun of him, he has a learning condition where things are hard for him to learn, but its suposed to be twincharged soon once he gets the money.
 
that sucks man, i say lawyer is your best bet...

roseville, fraser all those citys extort money out of there citizens... i got a ticket for a busted head light at 9 am while it was light out, had to pay 25 dollars for a cop to walk his ass out in the parking lot to tell if it was fixed or not...

oh i didnt know that my bad. the couple times i talked to him i tried to explain to him he needs to be realistic with the expectations of his car.

we try to get him to learn, but its really hard for him. when the car was at AutoRama, i was the one explaining to everyone who asked about what is done to the car, how it performs, and who did everything because he really has no clue one what is really done to it.
