Need to scrap a wreck

Got a wrecked 2000 Taurus in a Livonia impound yard .
What's my best options to get rid of it?

If you leave your car anywhere in Mi now they can put it on your taxes. Well if you leave it on the side of a road at least . Not sure about tow lot

Put an ad on CL, i guarantee theres a scrapper out there that would show up with you and haul it away.

There should be a scrapper that will pay for it, here in Ontario you can get up to $600 for scrap vehicles.

They'll bill you the daily for leaving it there. If you are just trying to junk it, take them the title signed and you might get away with only paying a few bucks on top of that.

I say this because a friends kid wrecked his Jeep, he was in a hit & run and only had PLPD.
Ambulance took him to hospital, some company towed his truck.
After a few months he was finally able to get some stuff from it and turn the signed title over.
I think they billed him for 3-400 as well for the tow, and storage & crap fees....
I don't know all the details though.
