what is cheap on those sr's

I have windsor sr w/ some work done to them ready to rock. Picked them up for $600. You can find a lot of good deals on used heads. Just make sure they're not fubar'd.

dont bother w/ the pistons, its not worth it, if you only have 600 to deal w/ and you bought pistons for 100 you would still have more then 500 in rebalance, recon rods, new rod bolts, bore and hone, new bearings, rings etc. you will probably have to stay w/ a windsor jr or a gt40 head to clear stock pockets just dont get a gt40 "p" and get a cam, idealy if you could save up some money do it, you are limited w/ the budget you are working w/ meaning you are going to have trade offs, if you do heads and cam you will more then likely not have enough for decent rockers, and if you choose to get rockers you wont have enough for a cam

guys, windsor sr's are more then likely not gonna clear his 84 piston unless he uses a very very small camshaft or gets it machined (once again added cost that will yield him no power, just creating trade offs) im not trying to get in the way of someone selling stuff, but its probably not gonna work cause sr's come w/ 2.02 valves, jr's are 1.94, the jr's will clear, sr's wont

I used to have a stock short block with GT 40 heads with garage port work, Lunati 560 lift cam, Victor jr intake and 750 carb. The car went 11.50s on motor and 10.30 on spray. That 650 carb isnt going to do anything for you. You need at least a 750 to make it run good. You have a good intake. Like John said it is all in the heads and cam to make it run. If you want I have a set of 69 Winsor heads I could probably sell for $200.

this is true you would have to stay at or under .500 ish lift.. But they do fit.

Pictures to come like i said they do need to be fixed..

so i could run the equivalent of like an F cam with sr's ?

what kind of power am i looking at with that ?

also isnt a 650DP perfect, it seems like people over carb shit alot

two runners need to either be welded or machins puttied and reshaped slightly..

The guy i got them from tried porting them and groudn to far into the push rod holes.. I had brass clean the holes up and pressed brass sleeves in but the runners still need to be fixed.

There are no springs locks or retainers.. has valves studs (new) guidplates(new) and used roller rockers 7\16 with one damaged. they are summit brand 1.6's yes you can order individuals.
