I think its hit or miss with battery life on galaxy phones. My phone lasts well throughout the day and im on it all the time. Surfing the web, watching youtube vids, constantly playing games, etc. Ive heard people bitch up a storm about s3 bat life, then others rave about it.

As far as being sturdy, I have a case on mine. Any phone I get would be fucked regardless of what phone it is. So I really dont care what material its made out of.

I was looking at the S3 last night. $0.96 at Sams Club right now since the S4 is out. Decisions, decisions..... We are due for our upgrades so might pull the plug on them.

My phone is running non stop.. I get 6 hours on a full charge.
I bought a bunch of spare batteries off of ebay (inexpensive) so this way I don't have to keep the phone plugged in.

The S4 is badass.

I have a new S3 insurance replacement.

Might buy a iphone 5s and then sell it on ebay and use the profits for something cool. The S3 is wicked quiker than the Galaxy Nexus it replaced.

Fuck drop test comparisons. In my book, unless you have a phone thats made to resist shattering (like the S4 Active), then its a crapshoot. I would never say my phone is better than an iPhone because it has Gorilla Glass. They all break when they facepalm. If yours didnt when you dropped it, then your lucky. Everyone claims that iPhones are super durable, but we all know what shattered iPhone screens look like. I've seen cracked screen Galaxy's as well. What I'm saying is, dont use durability as a deciding factor. They make cases and its the best investment you can buy for your phone.
