Mystery Cam

Ok found an old cam I can't remember what cam it is though. It's in a competition cams box I know it isn't a comp cam though. Never owned one.

So it's either an old blue wolverine cam, and e303 or a stock cam.

Markings on the top of the cam

looks like 9jv stamped in and then the numbers 961595 on the opp side.

Well its not an e303 because it would have e303 grinded into it and the past stock cams ive pulled out havent had any grind numbers on them so out of those choices I would guess its the wolverine cam out of them choices.

yea thats what i was thinking. But I've picked up so many various parts in trades and what not. I'll have to look into the numbers on it more to try to figure out exactly what it is so I can sell it.

got a picture of the end of the cam. they usually put some writing on the ends of the camshaft to indicate what it is.

I took a picture of the end can't see the stampings very well.

looking at it closer the one with the letters and numbers is kind of messed up. It looks like it could very well be WG8 and the numbers 961595.

Which would make it a Wolverine blue racer.

Wolverine / Blue Racer
WG1087
adv int dur 289°
adv exh dur 299°
int dur @ .050" 222°
exh dur @ .050" 232°
Int Valve lift 0.510''
Exh Valve lift 0.534''
Lobe center 112°

Anyway to check some of these numbers with calipers or other form of measurement tool to see if it is what i think it is.
