here are the pics of my tbird, havent done much more than drive it up the driveway (buying it from a friend, then i gotta do some repairs and maintenance so i can drive back home to michigan.)

my plans for it are actually pretty simple. the interior is gonna be a mix of tbird, mustang and mk7 bits, plus gauges and aftermarket buckets (the seats are free lol).
exterior, gonna get a different grille, the one i have now sucks, seen a tbird in the junkyard with a better looking grille. gonna run mk7 snowflakes with 245-series tires, car will be black, gonna dig up a set of wing windows for the doors, louvers for the back window, tint all around.
and now the goodies:
suspension, gonna swap in the mk7 airride, they used actual airbags rather than the craptastic airstruts, just need to find some sport shocks, bilstein, koni, etc. also going to upgrade the compressor and add a few switches so i can turn off the airride and dump the bags when i park somewhere (come on, you know that looks cool)( the mk7 airride also handles extremely well)
the mk7 swap will replace my 7.5 axle with an 8.8, give me 4 wheel disc brakes, and also has larger front rotors.
motor, 97 or newer explorer 5.0 longblock with gt40p heads. clean the heads, mebbe shave them down a touch. aftermarket valve springs, carb intake (thinking single plane edelbrock), 600cfm carb (the motorcrafts from the old 460's are rated at about 600cfm, wanna see what i can do with one), headers, xpipe and duals, H.O camshaft, msd distributor and coil. two-core radiator and efans to wrap up the package.
alltogether, once its all said and done, something like 80-85% of what i'm throwing on is factory ford and yet.......still kickass. once together it promises to be one hell of a runner.
let me know what you guys think. (also, sorry about the crappy typing, i'm tired and still at work lol)
