My sons graduation present

I actualy picked this up about a year ago and have been sitting on it. The previous owner had the passenger window down a bit so it was a little smelly inside. But My son pulled all the interior and carpet and cleaned it up and it came out pretty good I was suprised. I have been getting parts here and there for it. And I have everything I need it just needs a trip to the collision shop.

i always wanted a project car for me and my old man but he worked too much to want to be in the garage... thats cool

He cant seem to make up his mind on wheels one minute its the Roush wheels and then the next its the 18 inch Saleen wheels.

Nice project. My son will be 16 in a few months. Instead of a car for restoration. I am going to give him ( when he graduates ) my 73 Honda CB and we can start working on that. It doesn't need much, but I am going to re-plate a few items on it , and then powder coat a few others just to bring it back to its former glory. Plus he can learn plating and powder coating , after I show him a couple times, maybe I ll get him in the shop to plate customer parts LOL.

Good luck, I always wished I could have had something for my Dad and I to do as a project. Maybe I ll include him with this one and make it a Grandfather, Father , son poject !

Well we took the car to my friends shop yesterday and started working on it.

Now I just have to track down a hood to make sure everything lines up.

looks like a great father / son project and he will take really good care of it too since his hard work went into it as well.

+1 you seem like a really cool dad!

Make sure he doesn't loose interest. It will be a handful right now but will be worth it later down the road. Good luck and have fun

Cool DAD! When this is done and you guys go to the track let me know ill make some cool video or something for your soon, from start to end!

Yea its been fun watching him work on the car and he realy suprised me on some things.
