My shoulder

Random question and leave the jacking off jokes out, i woke up this morning with the worst pain in my shoulder and it will shoot down my arm from time to time. Anyone ever had this, and what the hell do i do to stop it!
 
probably tweaked the rotator cuff, IF its not popped out of the socket.

if you feel like it, go to the emergency room and get some painkillers; otherwise there's not much they will do for it. (assuming nothings torn).

if you have a sling, use that for a few days or at least take it very easy; and start up the motrin right away to keep the inflamation down.

Ice is a good idea too, then in a day or so, alternate hot/cold.

no relief in more than 2/3 days = time to get an exray. But you should know your own body well enough to know if you should go in sooner. Any loss of feeling, and I would go in sooner too. dont mess with possible nerve damage.
 
The past week some how (at work) I injured a disc in my spine and it's been rubbing on my sciatic nerve..The nerve runs down my left leg witch I cant even walk without over dosing on Ibuprofen (Advil) and Darvocet.
Of course consult your Doctor before trying to medicate yourself.

Sounds like my shoulders. I have bone spurs in both from repetitive sports injurys. See a chiroprator before you see anyone else maybe its just a bit of muscle strian.

Ok, it still hurts like a mofo, although putting a hot towel on it feels good, i think if it doesnt clear up by tuesday ill go get it checked out, it just sucks, i dont have a job/ ins. right now!

Well in that case they might as well amputate it.. they'll get a down payment on the arm and a leg its gonna cost you ;)

yea, it sucks, too bad it wasnt a leg though considering i have three of them!:laugh:
