My shit at No ET

Well after my most recent Canadian Adventure (unsure if you saw the thread or not) but I smoked my stock clutch on my first pass at Grand Bend. Came home that Friday and Sunday I tossed in a McLeod RST Twin disc :smash: Anyways, after driving the bejesus belt outta the car I was finally ready to give it hell. Drove the car to Grand Rapid from Port Huron (3 hours) to find the Midnight Madness event at US131 Motorsports Park cancelled due to incoming thunderstorms. So I stay the night and the next day depart home on a different path to make Milan Dragway a pit stop! This is NOT an event for me, my pile was about the slowest thing there, but I knew my role and got my passes in early while the fast cars were tweaking there set-ups getting ready for the grudge races. Anyways, first off, this new clutch isn't as easy to figure out as the stocker  It hits the tires MUCH harder which of course brings up some problems on 19" street tires :smash: Was an awesome event to go to, I will be at plenty more as I had a blast watching. I ran from about 4-6 pm and watched all the fast stuff after that.

I battled spinning heaviliy with spinning slightly and experiencing wheel hop, and major bogging. Anyways, more practice will come better times. Previous best was 12.32 @ 116 1.93 60' .... best I could muster at Milan on the new clutch was 12.50 @ 117 2.06 60'. Anyways, all in all a fun time... here are some vids so you guys can get a few laughs in and hear the car.

Also FWIW, my gearing SUCKS! :ack: Stock MN6 + 3.42's + 6800 rpms = 3rd gear will get me through the traps :willy: I'm holding off on the gearing though as I just plan to punish the car with more power instead :smash: I really am revving the car, shifts are at about 6800... it screams up top!

First pass, holy hop! Cam sounds good though! :smash:

Less RPM's = Bog

Little bit of hop here, I think this was my best pass

For your laugh (Traction control on for burnout + way too much RPMs on launch.... Nitto Invo's leave some cool marks at least!

Thanks! Full XSpower exhaust... I just happen to be a vendor for them on CorvetteForum :) Its longtubes, offroad X, and a prototype 3" catback
