Hey guys,

I'm looking for some ideas on what color to paint my new project....In case you all had forgot it was the 66 dodge charger we bought.
My dad and I are going to my buddies house tonight to discuss colors. My friend is great! He is the one that is going to do the body work and paint. He has put 4 cars into autorama including 2 of his own. He's gettin ready to put his 66 belvadere II in there this year. We are thinking of going Some sort of a blue and or with pearl, silver with pearl or a gun metal grey. We are NOT painting it RED or anything with alot of RED pigment. What are some of your suggestions. :icon_mrgr

Have you considered doing a tri-stage job, or do you want to just stick with basecoat/clearcoat?

Originally it was that minty metallic green/turquoise color...Then it was painted black. What kind of tri-stage are you talking about 92trip? Colors?

Viper blue or Mercedes Pearl grey. No stripes, no graphics, nothing, just plain and simple.

Mini tub it with 20X10's out back, some 18X9's up front, air ride, crate hemi with efi, viper 6 speed, custom red leather interior,sounds... sorry i'm getting carried away now lol

Seriously, plain and simple and as trick as your wallet can afford.

So far the color GUN METAL GREY is in the lead. It will be an old school Chevy color off the old corvettes.
