My PlastiDip experience/opinions

Yeah I imagine that would work on small parts, but it has no melt in,flow or leveling capabilities so your over lap is very noticeable.

I noticed the same thing. I'm a hack when it comes to painting with a rattle can but it came out ok. It's a little "patchy" where I started/stopped spraying on each pass. Eventually I'll have it painted but I wanted to get a feel for the look first.

 standards are dropping fast, pretty sure it was a group of kids thinking there was some goodies inside cause all they did was break the lift gate handle

Morons....Starting to be glad i moved out of the neighborhood when i did. Old neighbor just told me a few stories about some heppenings on my old block!

I like it!

How is it to clean when it gets dirty? Does the dirt come off easily?I know the Dupli-color stuff I used on my truck bottom hold dirt too much, even after washing it.

I washed the Jeep at the .25 car wash the other day (use my own wash mitt, no brush!) and I just was careful not to hit the plastidip areas with the full power. I just rinsed those spots off. It's holding up pretty well, as far as I can tell..

I can't believe the paint guy lets his wife take their car through an automatic wash!
Well it has my companies OEM paint on it so I know how durable it is, plus it's silver so I'm not really concerned....if it gets scratched up I know a good paint guy
