My notch is almost done!

Just need to finish up intercooler piping, and fab up a coolant crossover as this one will probably melt through lol
 
i originally wasnt going to. but the turbo placement meant a stupid looking pressure pipe if I stayed non-IC'd. plus I snagged one of those complete piping/intercooler/t-bolt clamp deals on ebay for like $199 shipped. itd be stupid not to.

4l80, using stock fbod computer to run it. I had to repin the harness, add a second vehicle speed sensor to 2 empty pins on the blue connector of the PCM, and then have HP Tuners switch my vin/hptuners info into another tune modded for the 4l80 because my PCM never had a 4l80 equivalent. it was an early 99 pcm. Im crossing my fingers that the PCM will take it when i rewrite, but so far it looks ok, only problem was that the current HPTuners version wouldnt read the file, so they had to send me a copy of their new Beta version so I could rewrite it this way. SCORE!!!!

yeah I know. ill probably add a stainless turb as a 90 and almost to the radiator outlet, plus heat wrap the downpipe. The radiator hose currently has about another 1/2" it can be pushed on as well. its just there for fitment.

That's pretty cool. I was thinking of using one of those transmissions, but I was just going to do a full manual conversion on it and shift it myself. Did it fit OK in the car, physically?

yeah, tons of room, ive probably got 4 inches above the damn thing and 2.5 on each side. the only tight spot is the electrical connector itself. it sticks out the side of the trans like 3 inches. I had to take a hammer to the floor to get it to fit up better, but if you go manual, it wont matter anyway

yeah, hes pretty meticulous when iit comes to putting a car together. when I brought it in, i had completely different idea of what I was looking to get, he put it together his own way and it ended up working out great
