My new Winter beater

I wish, but seriously who drives this car in the Winter? If you're either too vain, cheap or stupid to buy a Winter car, you don't deserve to own this type of car. I've seen it running around Ann Arbor, now I know where the woman that owns it lives.

The even funnier part is it was stuck at the bottom of her driveway. The driveway is really steep. It couldn't make it back up.

I just saw that car at Arbor Land over the weekend, its was kinda funny to watch people walk by and stare at it. The owner has to have to serious $$$

Throw snow tires on the bitch and let it rip! At least it's what I would do, it is AWD afterall. My dream winter car is a 996TT.

True story, one of my really good customers just traded in his Audi A8L for a new Audi S5. we tinted it all out windshield and all (strait up 70 year old retired guy still pimp'n) he has a set of winter wheels/tires on it and i saw him rip past the shop today

Maybe a lease or someone who actually uses a car for what it is --- transportation

A car is a car, why do people flip out when they see certain cars on the roads in anything but perfect weather? Its a car, DRIVE THE DAME THING!

Because that cars wasn't designed to be driven in the Michigan winters. I guess I have more respect for a beautiful automobile

So today I should test the Chevelle out in the Snow and Salt with the top down today!!! LOL:cheers:

Yeah no shit. I must be a moron. I'm gonna go grab some snow tires for my Mustang. I'm gonna DRIVE THE DAMN THING  :shake: :jagoff:

The R8 is a damned good looking car. Realistically, if I could afford one, I know I could afford a decent winter car.

There's a dude that works at the plant next door, a chrysler supervisor, who isn't the brightest bulb in the bunch. He robbed his 401k to buy a viper, but could barely afford the insurance and gas. He had to drive it all last winter, and at one point got stuck in the parking lot after it snowed....he couldn't get over the slick speed bump:)

I thought it was bad when I had to drive my 94 z28 one winter.

Cars like your's aren't in that category. It's vehicles like the ones you can go and buy in a showroom today

People drive C5/C6 Corvettes all year round in Michigan and love it

I drove my 86 GT one Winter. I was busted ass broke and couldn't afford a second car. Hell I didn't even have a license back then. I swore if I had a "fun" car, I'd NEVER drive it in the Winter again. It's hard enough to keep a car nice in the Summer/Spring/Fall.

Probably a press/media loaner vehicle. It looks identical to the car that a friend, who works for an Ann Arbor-based car magazine, brought over a few weeks ago.

I agree, but some people don't have that luxury. If I had a modded anything (Camaro, Corvette, Mustang) I wouldn't drive it in the winter either. Too much invested to trash it like that

It's just that 90% of the car buying public use them for transportation and nothing else, we are the minority :D
