My new project '94 Stang

I recently purchased a 1994 Ford Mustang GT with Cobra intake and wheels. It also has a Cervinis body kit and hood (removed the wing to make it a slickback) and some other goodies.

Well here are the issues:
Bad suspension (Completely gone)
Wheelbearings are fucked
Power steering is going bad
Needs new headers and maybe full exhaust
Needs new door panels (getting some new ones from craigslist)
Driver-side lock will not work from the outside

What route should I go? I am on a budget so be reasonable.

Thanks!

first get rid of that exhaust those tips are hideous.

Thanks troll for your positive input.. -.-

The exhaust is the least of my worries and fyi I'm getting square tips to fit the bodykit.

Any positive input and thanks! It will be a fun project!

I'm aiming it to be a decent daily driver but fast, not a drag car.

Also It has a shift kit with rear gears. Not sure what gears but I know they are not standard. Also considering that is the first thing people do to these GTs.

With the steering wheel pod gauges and carbon fiber gauge bezel you should make plenty of power.... id throw a turbo blue sticker on it and call it a day. Race car shit

Junkyard repkacement parts to start. Stock suspension pieces should be easy to find. Post what you need in the WANTED forum.. If you arent blocked from it that us..

Looks good, plenty of potential.

But he took off the wing, so he lost power there...

It's a 302, There's thousands of small things to do to them to make a little power. But to make real power, it's gotta be LSx!

LOL says the guy with four posts who just registered to the guy who has been here for years.

Because seniority shows maturity... I might be new to MM, but not forums buddy.

Anyways, I just bought it and I have not done anything to it yet. How it is, is how I bought it. Trust me if it was up to me I would of never had that gay ass fake carbon fiber trim.

I bought it to turn ugly in to sexy. I know 302s are easy to pull power out of and that's why I love 5.0s.

As for the suspension, I don't want junkyard suspension. I'd rather get something that will last and still has a warranty.

Thanks for the feedback guys and thanks for the warm welcome (not)! :P

as for making power out of your 5.0, i think mustangs and fast fords did a write up on a budget 400 hp 302 that only cost $1064. it was a pro comp cylinder head with a cam and intake(it was carbed so you may not be 400hp on the mark). as for suspension i recomend checking out latemodelrestoration.com they had a sweet spring, frame tie, and rear upper and lower control arm kit for like 300 bucks.

Thanks. I will definitely look in to it. I really appreciate it.

Might be out of budget but an on3 turbo setup would be pretty sweet in this car

I definitely want forced induction, just not right away. Other things to fix first.

...but not sure what kind to get. I know with a supercharger there's no lag but turbochargers produce more power. I also know that turbochargers are less reliable from what I have heard.
If I were to get a supercharger I wouldn't know what kind... centrifugal or Twin-Screw.

Blowers are harder on the motor they put a bigger load on the crank im in process of collecting parts to make a turbo kit in my mustang on3 is by far the best bang for the buvk you'll find. Get rid of the smog pump!
