I don't understand why people give other people a hard time for having nice things. Just because someone has something nice doesn't mean that they are in dept or it was handed to them or just buying outside of their means.

I am 24 have 2 motorcycles 3 cars and a 1900 sqft house on one acre and the oly dept I have is my mortgage . I am a teacher I do not make a ton of money but I am smart with my money. Throughout college I worked 70-90 hours a week building custom cabnets and doing epoxy floors and in my free time I wold buy fix and sell cars and motorcycles for a profit not spending a cent along the way. Plus with the current market I got 50K off the asking price of my house.

So just because you are experiencing hard times don't hate on other people that are working hard and know how to handle money (not saying that you don't). Maybe they are spending outside their means and maybe they are not that is for them to know. You should be happy that there still are people in the bad economy that still doing ok.

X2 it takes a ton a man hours to build a place like this..Alot of money goes back into the economy with these types of homes...Who gives a fuck what people think, be proud of what you have pete...:cheers:

Thanks to all of you that are looking at the big picture! I have had a few people come through for estimates: rough carpenters, HVAC, electricians, plumbers, drywallers, architects etc.... And gues what? They all live in MI! I would be happy to also entertain any estimates from others on this site that are in this line of work. PM me if you are a proffessional and do quality work.
