My new 1967 Mustang

How much for the big block since you want a 408?

The motor in it is trashed. A rod was thrown through the sidewall. The 408 is sitting in my garage waiting for someone to give me a helping hand one weekend. I was planning on parting out the engine in there now. Nothing special just some bolt ons. Figure I could get some decent coin from that stuff off ebay or a mustang forum.

That would be one mean road race car!!

That's what it was being built for. I'm trying to turn it into an all around street car, road racer, strip (like once a year) car. Is that what they call "protouring"? Drop it down, put an 18/20 rim combo, 408 SBF Stroker, stock interior besides rollcage and stereo.

I'm trying to decide a color. I'm going with a blue I think. Like the blue on a Yamaha dirt bike frame (for you motorcross guys).

You would be hard pressed not to turn a ton of heads with it.

That's what I go for in any car I own. My Tahoe has been the biggest hit so far but I've had the most time into that by far. I'm really hoping this if I build my mustang right I can use that and my Tahoe year round. The Mustang in the summer only. I'd like to get ride of this F-150 I'm driving now. The lease on it is good until next May so I'd be good if I could finish this mustang in a year.

You plan on turning in your F150 next summer, driving the Tahoe year round, and having the Mustang as a summer toy?

Exactly! The Tahoe is just a Tahoe with a Duramax. Nothing different then driving a 2500HD year round. Would mean we wouldn't have any car payments. My Tahoe and Mustang are paid off and my Dad bought Alayna her Edge. I may talk to my Dad and see if he wants to take the F150 back sooner. That'd be an extra $360 in my pocket each month.

You should look in to volk racing, grahm lights, or rays wheels. They are extreemly light and strong. They also come in a ton of colors with the option for polished lips. Many of each co's wheels would look sweet on your mustang.

I'll have to look into those. I'm not sure what rims I wanna go with yet. I was thinking a polished lip with a charcoal center. I want a protouring look. Almost like you'd see from Foose.
