My loaner CTS has weed in the center console...

Good job Enterprise. While my CTS is being serviced at Suburban cadillac, I was given a free CTS loaner through dealer from Enterprise. Car was spotless with just a few miles on it, then I open the center console, hey there! Looks like someone spilled a baggie and cleaned it up quickly with just there hands. It doesn't bother me, and only would if I had to go to Canada for work and got hassled at the border. Not likely but still...

I guess its better than my buddy who had his Audi in for service and was given a loaner A4 with a loaded handgun in the glovebox. WTF?! I'd have been pissed about that!

I doubt the cleaners ever open the glove box, hell I have been lucky to not have mud & dog hair covering the inside when I have picked it up. Def mention it to them tho, as it might have been an employee for all you know.

Definitely let them know about it. Could have really caused some issues (imagine if you would have been pulled over for something stupid...cop would never believe it wasn't yours).

lol there are a ton of situations where this could have been bad, but since its not thats funny as hell

Does that work like the mini fridge in a hotel room? You only get charged for it if you smoke it?

Ho-Lee-Crap.
If you got pulled and could show it was a rental, and you had your act together otherwise...? You MIGHT get off.
I certainly wouldn't want to chance it!! And I would definitely tell them about it at Suburban.

Loaded handgun?? It would be mine...

I would either A: take it ( if you smoke or whatever ) B take the car back to enterprise ( best advise probably ) or....not sure, I definitely wouldn't drive it around everywhere with it there, you could try and vacuum it up and get rid of it if you don't want to deal the rental company. I would go to a quarter vacuum though

Yea, I guess the gun would be a perk if it wasn't used to slaughter someone and then left in your possession...that would be my biggest concern. Not so worried about a little twill in the console.

So when I brought it back I told the caddy service manager about it as we were finishing up, he just shook his head. I laughed saying I didn't care, while pointing at the Enterprise kid who was like 22 and just got back from Chicago from a NYE party (only knew because he told me when I was given the loaner). Funny, the service manager said, "I'll take care of the loaner and all the details, just take your car and be on your way." I know what he was hoping for, but he'll be disappointed. :)
