My first dyno results

I know its not a car but seems there have been a few guys interested in this as I have been putting it together. Wen't down to Findlay Ohio yesterday to dyno the quad and got some very pleasing results.

The Blue and and Black runs were on 110, and the Red one is on VP's mrx01 oxygenated fuel. The motor is stock Bore/Stroke, with stock valves in the head. A stock yfz makes around 38hp So I have no complaints with the results

Oh its a blast, it has the WR dirtbike crank in it which is one pound lighter than stock alone, With a Falicon Knife rod which is super light, the thing revs the second you stab it. We moved the 2 step up to 8500, So you know I had to try it out as soon as I got home last night, launched it a few times before I put it away. Definitly rips

Thank you sir! I may not wait till the dunes, May have to throw the paddles on and hit up the sandy spot in the side yard and get some videos of it soon haha

my buddy just put the same crank in his 450.im not sure what else he did but id be curious to see what it makes.

To me its amazing in the difference it all made, The thing just loves rpm's. We made a few pulls past 11k and the power didn't hardly drop off at all.

Do it! You could also bring in a bunch of sand and make your own strip. Just sayin.

Haha, I might run it by Team_southside's house this weekend and make a few hits in the field behind his house. Gonna have the small paddles on it tho so it probablly isn't going to hook very well.

you going to trail ride this thing at all?

Yeah thats really why I wanted to stick to the stock bore/stock stroke motor, It's only 13.5:1 comp and has rather mild cams in it with the web 943's. I SHOULD essentially be able to have near stock realibilty/rideabilty with it still. We shall see. We have a week long trip planned the second week of July. Hope to have the bugs all worked out before then if any but I have a pretty good feeling she is good to go.

nice. just a different piston to bump the compression up? my bud didnt do cams. but it seems to run real strong with all them dirt bike parts in it.

nope it was just a budget rebuild. i think some mild cams and a little head work would wake it up. Dont wanna run race gas thats just a pain when doing long trail rides.

nice numbers, i go to that guys dyno all the time. he real cool guy. i had a 2006 trx450r with a HRC kit and venom pipe and made 48hp. then i had a 2009 yfz450r with MSD programer and pipe and put down 47hp
