:buds:

love you Ryan

Fuck you bitch!!!! My truck is not 12 seconds.....the tiny penis is up for debate...lol! And to get back on topic.....dude, you were totally frying your clutch out of that thing....you were reving the fuck out of it and it wasnt even spinning the tires.

Yes, agreed...the motor is fucked. Just letting you know of a potential problem. Your clutch was smoking way before you blew it. I have tons of nice things to say....buddy.

lol the clutch was not smoking i can promise you that. but since you seem to be quite the clutch connoisseur ill just go ahead and take your word for it. but i find it hard to believe that a dual friction centerforce with less that 3k miles on it is cooked.

whats the brand/age of it have to do with it being smoked or not?

youve got my old motor now ? slap a good carb on that and some spray and your all day ;) def would go to a vic jr tho

Ya, I would at least look at it since the motor is out anyways. I've smoked good clutches a lot faster then 3k. ( Yes i can drive a stick and didnt just fuck it up). My old neighbor had the same exact clutch as you and he blew through it in about 2 weeks because he refused to drive it normal and wear it in. He made somewhere in the mid 400hp range i think plus a little spray. And now it sits again. Lol. I just thought it was odd that your motor was reving like crazy but your tires stopped spinning and then a crap ton of smoke came out from under where the trans would be. It did this the time/times you took the car out before you blew it up. :headscrat

sucks to hear for sure.... but you may want to check that clutch.... i had a centerforce d/f with 1500 miles or so, was broken in properly, but i "drove through it" and blew the 306 from an over-rev. either way the motor is done, but i would just check the clutch so it possibly doesnt happen again..? just my .02 though

alex, i have your old motor. im gonna run that and a vic jr and put my carb and my kit on it. as far as the clutch goes im gonna check it and make sure. the smoke was coming from a small leak i had on the back of my intake. the oil was shooting onto my header and causing the smoke, i didnt smell any clutch burning at all...

haha. at least now were gonna actually see what that motor would do with a good carb. im just wondering if my longtubes are gonna clear. i really hope so cause i have my whole 3 inch exhaust custom bent for my longtubes
I built that motor watch out ;) lol

I doubt it, didnt we try that once ? you might have to revert to bbk shorties and a h pipe :headscrat

that motor should put ur car in the mid 12s on motor running correctly

An intake leaking oil will kill a clutch fast. If that's the case i bet the clutch was slipping and had something to do with the carnage.
