Kinda strange that all those push rods would fail simultaneously. I could see maybe one but not all of them, are you sure timing didnt jump?
 
see those shiny half circles in the valve pockets. way deep in there. Thats where the head of the valve was smashed into the piston.

Pushrods don't fail and cuase valve heads to snap. The valve just don't open. Its either that or it floated hard. With pushrods bent like that though. I am disinclined to belive anything but a piston to valve contact issue.

Hydrualic roller ? Without using a check spring you coud have given up at least 0.150 of lifter preload to check with the clay method. I bet my ass that is was hitting.

was the motor really clattery like it had a bad lifter in it ?

ptv was checked usung the clay method and had plenty of clerence. springs were matched by comp for the cam. the pushrods were almost certian to blame
