I guess it was used as a torque bar (?) When I bought the car that chain was bolted to the head and I've been to lazy to take it off.

Well I thought about that, I was looking into a K-member kit aswell.

im doing both.. in the process of smoothing then engine bay and painting the car.. then will come a cage subframes, and front and rear suspension stuff.. all to be done by late jan.. ehhh no wonder im so fin broke all the time..
