My Drive on Bullrun 2010

I dont post here much but figured I would share this:

I had an opportunity to drive on the Bullrun Rally 2010 www.bullrun.com from New York to Vegas 2 weeks ago and figured I would share some of the pics.

A couple of things:
This is the Rally, not the TV show. (Rally = no rules vs. TV show = rules)

Names of interested with us: Ice-T, Coco, Drake Kemper (younger TV kid), Claus Ettenberger (CEC owner) Schwab (Charles Swab son) and from the Bullrun show, Team Wu, Team Arkansas (Team Lexus girls), Tony and Theresa Williams (Team TNT Solstice) and many others...

We had not idea where we were going every morning........pull up, grab a card and go. lowest elapsed time to the next check point is the winner....cumulative winner over next 7 days is the overall winner....again No rules...go as fast or slow as you want and take any route you want.

Route: New York > Cleveland > Chicago > Omaha, NE > Boulder CO > Telluride, CO > Scottsdale AZ> Vegas with stops at MIS, IOWA speedway, a go-kart track,dirt track, the worlds largest rocking chair....ETC.

I drove this: www.firebreathercar.com Thanks to my friends at Exxodus Pictures and Classic Design Concepts The car is obviously based on a 2010 Camaro SS. It put down 528whp on a Mustang dyno

Why: I introduced the two companies last year to build a car for a movie coming out next year called JINN (filmed in Michigan) and this was a thank you.

Tickets: Me, Only one....88 in a 65..(on the brakes). The great state of IL lets you pay a little extra and take and online course to make it go away! I "took it easy" for the most part.

Others tickets... as a group as of the 5th night we had over $50K in tickets combined...some people way more than others (that includes bail for 6 people that went to jail on separate occasions!)

Just saw the video... Holy crap! Lots of muscle cars and just plain wierdness (a limo!?). Must have been a blast to drive and hang out with those guys!

To answer your question first....Kind-of. (Assuming you mean George H. from CDC)

I only drove with George from MIS to Chicago. I got there before him in the second Firebreather without stickers.....He and a Ferrari had to take an exit to avoid an Ohio Trooper while I continued straight almost unoticed! Trooper went after the red Ferrari, George just had a slight detour.

Things got real messed up in New York just before Bullrun started. The original plan was for me to drive an unstickered Firebreather and "chase" the celebrity driven stickered one...Celebs never showed, so George piloted the car from NY to Cleveland on Saturday and then from Cleveleand -MIS-Chicago on Sunday. George had to fly home from Chicago to attend to work so I drove the stickered one after he left for a bit....

George did met us at the finish on Friday night.
