My Dad has to have Heart Surgery!!

Dad made it through surgery with no problems, when we left he was harrassing the nurses so everything must be ok. I feel sorry for the nurses though, He is a dirty old man LOL

They told us a silent heart attack is where you suffer a attack and don't realize it, there is no noticable chest pain just a tightness that may go un noticed or just shrugged of as a minor shoulder pain. He just started feeling weak and having problems breathing and laying down to sleep.
 
my mother had that done a few years back and it wasn't that bad of a procedure. She didn't pass the stress test so I had to take her to a heart specialist in Saginaw and they found some defect in her heart that corrected itself (the blood still flows thru the valve) I was terrified too when I heard it.

My mother doesn't eat healthy and she smokes like a freight train.

angio plasty is almost out patient surgery anymore

he will be fine thought s and prayers are with him

my old man had his second quad bypass last winter they have done wonders with heart surgery the last few years

your dad has just been on my mind.

He came home from the hospital today, He can't drive or move around to much untill the incisions in his groin heal. They say about a week to 10 days.
