The ZR2 all cleaned up and POR-15'd so the rockers and 3rd door stay cancer free! Lol.

Good looking truck! I'm doing the same thing right now....but my doors have already been infected, so surgery has begun.
 
Thanks! Truck was originally from Indiana so I'm assuming that's why the rockers and 3rd door are still there. For being a 02 with 117, the under side is amazing, even the little clips that come through the floor boards are still solid.
 
I Love those trucks but I HATE the durability of them ! I bought a brand new sonoma Zr2 in 03 and it was at the dealer more than it was on the road. I traded it in 3-4 yrs later and had a stack of dealer invoices about 6" thick. I did use it mildly off road but still that was the trucks claim to fame ?
 
Shit must of been built on a Saturday lol. Every s-10 my friends and I have owned have been great aside from the intake gasket.
 
03 was the last yr and it was in the fall so it was toward the end of their production.. didn't even come with the good BFG's some shitty street tire.. it had 40k when i got rid of it.. and all front end parts had been replaced prob 3 idler arms.. 2 or 3 T-case shift motors.. the Cat plugged up around 35k hell even when I picked it the hitch wasn't installed had to go back and get that put on then they wrapped the wire plug around the hitch which shorted out and blew RH turn signal fuses all the time.. yea that truck left a sour taste in my mouth for GMC .. but im happy with the GMC i own now
 
Damn that brutal. Now the tires if it was a gmc Sonoma zr2 they come with junk general tires instead of BFG AT some also had long trails also. That sounds like my dads old 07 cts. Nothing but fucking problems and how cheap the car was was disgusting for a 45,000 cars, it was a pile of shit. He swears he will never own another American made car again lol.
