I dont remember anything out of the ordinary when it was in the shop, might be the camera?

It's a bad ass car though, always fun to tear stuff apart with paper tags on it :D
 
i know the z06 we did for paul tuetul made 590rwhp without takin the heads off. we are in process of doing a heads cam package for the ls7. we are lookin for 620+ rwhp with a stock short. i'll let ya'll know when its done. bad ass car though i like the black. and i like this guy already has a cam in it with 200 miles and a paper plate...ur bad ass
 
you could at least let the oil turn black you know... haha awesoe car, cant wait to see what she looks like with the black steam rollers on it
 
my buddy has the lightest Z06 (he is a touch anal and is constantly pulling off extra), cam'd and headers. He was running low 12's spinning off the line and not beating it too hard. we were @ the track and people were asking him about it till he was staging, knock on his window when we were 2 cars back asking "whats that got in it"

do you have a switch for the baffels or are they RPM activated?

nice car. black is the best color.
 
Thanks everyone. Appreciate the kind words.

The baffles are RPM controlled. They open up at 3500 and stay open as long as you keep the rpms above 3500. They close at idle and up to 3400 rpms. I have a wireless switch set-up coming in the mail right now that I will install. This will allow me to open the baffles or have them closed at any time, any rpm, at my convenience..:) Pretty neat little system.

I want to get more miles on it before I really start beating up on it. I just got to 500 miles today and I am going to give it some hell, but not all that much..;)

Wouldnt it be nice if the roads were salt free and warmer and you could get traction before 100mph?

My active handling goes nuts up until then, so I can only imagine right now you are having the same traction issues + some. I cant wait to see that thing rip in person.:rockwoot:
 
Yes, traction is just silly, even with my brand new PS2's. First gear is useless, seconed gear is useless, and third gear at 90 is when I can go WOT and get traction (but still has to be atleast 40* out to do so and hok up).

This is why it is not even fun driving that car right now. I am just driving it a little now (drove it to work today) to get some miles on it and break it in. But the real fun will begin when temps start to get to 60*+. I can't wait, just a few more weeks I think.
 
Why don't you put DR's on it??

Trying to hook up any amount of hp on street tires is a chore.

Because they don't make a dr in my size. I don't want to downgrade to an 18" tire + rim just to put dr's on it. That might not sound like a ligit excuse to some, but is to me since I am not much of a drag racer anyways..:)
