My Build:Updated 1/15/08 (PAGE 8 no56k!)
UPDATED 1/15/2008 PAGE 8 HAS ALL THE PICTURES!
Some people know me on here, and know that I don't build rice crap.
I went through my non-import stages. (82 cutlass 406, 71 skylark, and a Notch) But I just have fun building these little fuckers. So much in fact that I run a business doing Engine swap, Engine Builds, Fabrication, Suspension Installs, and Tuning.
Well, some of you will approve and some of you won't. Its what I do, and it is what pays the bills!
Project Sedan:
Picked this up last weekend (Not the one that just passed). As my Winter build car, I build a new car every winter. Last years civic can be seen here: Click here and hit the next arrow Anyways, this years car is a 2000 Civic 4 door LX. The outside will remain stock, 1" drop and maintaining the stock honda hubcaps and stock exhaust (will have cutout) and I'll be running Saturn Steel wheels becuase they are 7" wide. Also, Instead of swapping for a DOHC or k-series (like last year) I'm sticking with the stock powerplant and doing a full build + boost.
Engine:
-1.6 Sohc Non-Vtec Block w/ Vtec head
- Scat H-beam 600+hp rods w/ ARP 2000 series bolts
- Sleeved block with .020 overbore
- Wiseco 8.7:1 Pistons with coated Skirts
- A1 Tech Head/Main/Manifold Studs (Cobalt Alloy)
- Oem Honda Bearings
- +1mm Valves on exhaust side / +.5mm Valves on Intake Side
- Zex 15300 cam (Boost cam, Long duration, medium lift)
- SLS Ramhorn Manifold (Pictured below)
- PTE 57 Trim T3/T4 .68 A/R EX
- 38mm Tial Wastegate
- 50mm Tial BOV
- 3" downpipe with QTP E-cut out. (one side to stock exhaust, other out side of front bumper)
- 96+ Vtec Intake Manifold
- 2000 Civic Si Throttle body
- Hondata S300
Shooting for 400-450 on pump 500 even on c16. Here is some of the pics:
Only thing the stock intake manifold is good for
Slicks
Stock rods are cute
I still have room for one more. Customer cars are lined up down my driveway!

Well, that is about it. If you have any questions let me know.
