well i used to power wheelie in 1st by just going wot around 45ish.. and it would come up but violently and drop hard usually unless i rode it out.. now im workin on the 2nd gear clutch ups... alot more smother and easier for me.. the zx12 is a fast bike so it shouldn't be too hard... be around 5500-6000 in second.. and keep all ur fingers on the clutch side except ur index on the bars pull the clutch in with the index and pull the throttle hold it then pop the clutch out all at the same time.. it takes time to get used to but it works like a champ every time... at first dont go wot when u try it just do a lil to get it up a couple inches till u get the hang of it.
i getting better at them every day..
thats stupid it starts with a baby 1 and always leads to a big 1 and then shit happends, like tickets getting the bike impounded and so on, ive been there done that, ive use to do 5 mile wheelies now when i see people doing them i cringe i hate them,,
be careful steve
i would put a swing arm on there like i did mine
but shit with a 14 that bitch should come right up in every gear
yea. but i have gotten much better since that day and did some ok ones but nothing on tape.was that chad ?

im near 275lbs on a heavy stock resticted bike... it wont come up with me on it unless wot.. and the brake is allways covered..If you have to go Wide open to maintain your wheelie, i dont care what gear, your not in control. A wheelie is all balance. you forget to mention that you should keep your rear brake in mind at all times as an emergency plan or to correct yourself.
