Yep, vintage BMX is the hotness right now. My old Dyno Detour would have pulled some serious bucks. I think I sold it at a garage sale for $50 :(

Man, makes me wish I still had my Dyno Detour. Mine was a 1992 or 1993, the last year for that model, then they released the Dyno Air. I sold mine to a kid in my neighborhood when I got my license for $100. My bro bought mine for me after my Predator got stolen.

Glad I still have my old 80's GT Performer in the Garage. Chrome white mags with GT tires, oh yeah.
No sale for me, nothing is better than watching my 7 year old daughter cruise around on it.

I have a all original mint hutch pro racer. Have original bill of sale too. 338.00 in 1984. Iwas 11 and paid for it from my paper route. Hanging in my basement.

Pro Racer? was that the mid sized light wieght one with skinny tires for the younger kids... I always wanted the Pro Star, but it's list price was 999.95. My paper route didn't pay that well.

About 8 years ago, I found what was left of a GT Performer in the trash. It was run over, forks and handle bars were bent, wheels were missing. It had redline flight cranks on it. First I was going to rebuild it, and bought CW pro bars. Then changed my mind and sold the CW bars, made an extra $10 from what I paid. What suprised me, were the redline flight cranks brought over $500 alone on Ebay about 5 years ago.

I still have the GT Frame, its in desent shape, with the exception of the fiberglass uni seat post that I have not been able to remove. Frames clean, and I even picked up new decals/stickers for it. Not sure if the stickers are orinals or remakes.

OMG!!! Talk about going down memorie lane! Yeah, I had a GT Performer with the chrome GT bars. lay-back seat post, Skyway Graphite black wheels, and Red line Cranks. The ultimate bike in '84-85era...Cut alot of grass for those parts. Looking at the tough neck on the Skyway bike makes my knees hurt with no pad on it...For those who rode 'em, you know all about slipping a pedal...Anyway Sweet to see and good for the 80's BMXr's to make a good value comback...And yeah, I sold mine too, back in the day...Now if the market picks up for my Raliegh Technium mountain bike with all Shimano gear including bio-pace cranks, I'm all set, yet I still ride this bike often and it's CHERRY!!..Mike
