my 95% dream car is for sale

...and to think my Dad said the dealers who had them could not sell them. He remembers them in the dealerships sitting there!:crap:

the superbirds were that way most dealers didnt get daytonas, only thing that bothers me about this car is he never tells how the fixed the hole in the roof from the sunroof installed in 73-74 by the second owner

Yeah, the superbirds....

sorry i love the winged warriors, worst part is I have one buddy with 4 of them and another friend who has 2 I hate going to their houses

hard to say, a few have sold in the low 7 figure area, this car has quite the histor and lots and lots of documents but the market is in the shitter for cars. Usually cars like this are sold before they are advertised

I always like the winged Mopars also. It's the reason I hate the 2000 Cobra R wing. They just stole the look Mopar had 30+yrs before :shake:

The wing isn't about the look on the Mopar. It's about downforce on the highbanks of Daytona. On the 2000 R... maybe it's about the look.

I understand that. Same with the nose. That's why those cars were outlawed. Plus Dodge and Plymouth didn't care if they sold any to the public. They just had to under Nascar rules.

My Grandfather had a Dodge dealership in the 60's. My Dad use to tell me what slug bitches those cars were because they were so heavy.

Yuckkkyyyy but to each their own.. Any clue how much that thing weighs??

20 lbs tops is cast aluminum, I have a pic at home of me sitting on my buddys at a car show the looks from people are great, there is actually a bracket in the trunk that runs to the frame

i would assume it's about the downforce on the Cobra R as well. At least, that's what Ford intended. I mean, it WAS basically a stripped down race car.
