My 5yr old got attact by 2 dogs!!

wow heart breaking to see your precious 5 year old little girl all fucked up this way, she is fortunate to have not lossed an eye or limb being so little...........

Get a Lawyer NOW and go after the owner, seeing your girl hurt like that makes words fail me......I Love my Lab and have had many, but only one at a time, dogs get the pack mentality when they are 2 or more, find out which dog did not engage your daughter and mark the other 2 for destruction.

This dog owner knew she was in deep shit and left the scene.........get a Lawyer.

Agreed. I have only come across a few dogs that I hated (jumped on you, constantly biting (not playing either), etc., etc.), and funny that they were all Labs.
Those dogs are WAY overbred and they get dumber with every new generation brought up douchebag backyard breeders.

I was being serious. And I said hammer or shovel because gun shots are loud, too quick, and you get in a lot of trouble for discharging a firearm in public. Blows from a shovel or a hammer will make me feel better by physically venting for what those dogs did to my little girl.

i'm serious too bro. ive got 4 kids myself, and that shit ain't flying with me. we got a small, but really quite mean dog years ago. when it bit my daughter for no real reason,(in the face, no less), i had it put down immediately. sucked, but had no choice. the little bastard was gonna get me sued.

in-breeding is a mother fucker!!!

Labs, they are fucking crazy pretty much their whole lives, they finally calm down and fucking drop dead.

People think I'm crazy for getting such a bigass dog, but I can't find a single record of them attacking a human! Oh, and I am chucking up the extra dough to be sure that there has been no in-breeding done in the blood lines from which my dog is from (pure canadian!)(well, as clean as could be expected as thats essentially how pure breds came about, line-breeding to lock in specific traits, not to make an extra buck)

So you let your 5 year old daughter roam the neighborhood unsupervised?
That's a point I didn't even think about.

My 6 year old daughter isn't allowed in my GATED backyard without either my wife or I watching her. Are we over-protective? Maybe. But at the same time, we KNOW she's safe.

I agree 100%...and I only have a nephew to watch. He doesn't leave my side...but he did say that his 14 yr old was there. Shit happens sometimes guys, and the kid could have been easily distracted or watching her from a distance.
Too late to dwell on those facts, it's said and done. I'm sure he is upset enough he wasn't there.
Now let's focus on why the bitch was smart enough to flee, and grab her Kujo's as well...
Guilty conscience...

he has a valid point.... especially if there weren't any adults home.

Yes a point, but not elaborated...
I just don't like someone making someone feel bad about their parenting skills, when the guy is torn enough about his little girl. We can't all be f*ckin superheros all the time.
A lot of shit(bumps and bruises) happened to all of us at one point or another when we had a sitter, or were left with siblings...that's all I'm saying.

Wow......from "my kid got bit by a dog" to "you're a shitty parent" in 45 posts........what a tool:shake:

If that would have been my kid, I would have climbed the fence and beat all of those dogs to death, but I do think you handling it in the right way.

We live in a little farm village that I grew up in. My 5yr old was given permission to go down there with her brother and a group of kids yesterday for the first time. They all came home and then after my wife and I left, part of that group went back and my 14yr old daughter, that was baby sitting let her go back with them. Almost everyone in my neighborhood went to school with me or one of my brothers or sisters. There are not even sidewalks in front of the houses down that street. The kids all walk through the front yards or ride their bikes on the street to get down there. One of the reasons I have raised my kids here is that my town is in somewhat of a time warp. The parents all know each other and watch out for the community kids.

In case of emergencies my dad lives 5min away. My daughter has several numbers of the neighbor's also. Good friends live less than a block from us and she is an RN. She was the 1st one my 14yr old called and she was here within minutes and was on the phone with me telling me her assessment.

flame on!

I joked about that to my wife this morning.

I doubt we will sue, but I do want to know if the dogs have their rabies shots.

You'd be surprised what your neighbor's homeowners will pay out. Easily enough to cover four years of college for your daughter in 13 years. Don't think of it as revenge, think of it as repaying your daughter for the hell of getting attacked by two dogs. It still won't be enough, she is probably going to be scarred for life physically and mentally.
