Nice truck. I have 102k on my 2000 Z71 Silverado. It's about time to do front brakes again and the fuel gauge sender is still acting up but other than that, it's been almost flawless for me. (I've had the fuel pump/sender sitting in the garage for over a year just waiting for it to die to give me a reason to change it.)

Yep, my sender was out for a few years before I finally changed it, and that was only because my pump quit on me.
It is so much easier to pull the bed back and replace it from the top FYI. I did it from underneath with a trans jack - what a PITA.

i put about 5 autozone fuel pumps in my old 4x4 sonoma. and i too, have to agree thats the easiest way. i got too good at that job :shake: duracrap FTL!!

Thanks :D

Wheels and a cowl hood have been on the list for quite some time. Just two of those things I never get around to doing

Have some extra $$$ for a cowl right now? My boss bought one for his silverado and ordered one for a 99 1/2-2002, he has a 2006.

I'd be interested, but the 1999-2002 GMC/Chevy hoods are different. Thanks though.

I've been spending the $$ on my '67 project and the kids for now. I'll get back to the GMC once the project truck gains some momentum.
