My 1st time in Las Vegas

I have been there a few times and it really is not that expensive depending on how you decide to go about your trip

I would go to www.fatwallet.com go to the forums section and search for Las vegas. They have a bunch of deals on there, discounts on shows and places on where to get coupons and discounts.

The Brazilian Steakhouse at the Mirage is excellent! It is called SAMBA. I would recommend anyone to go there, $50 a person and worth it. This would be good for your nice meal to go to.

Any Cirque Du Soleil show is awesome and if you go on fatwallet.com you can find discounted prices to pretty much any show. I saw the Beatle LOVE show at the Mirage and it was unbelieveable.

** Don't forget to check out the NEW CITY CENTER when you are there I heard it was awesome, they just built it

One other really cool place to go is the new lounge call MINUS 5
The whole bar is ice and there are only 6 of them in the world. I wanted to go there last time we were in Vegas but didn't have enough time

Have fun!

The City Center isn't done. Last I heard construction was on hold because Dubai backed out of it's funding and MGM didn't have the cash to finish it.

Funny thing is when your on the way to Vegas, the plane is rocking, everyone is happy, excited, thinking they will hit it big! The ride back, everyone is quiet, sad, the plane is real quiet
....I go knowing I'm losing money but I'm going to have a hell of a time doing so!

Ya gotta bet big to win big! When im on a roll i'll throw down $50-$100 a hand on blackjack but that's what you gotta do when the cards are hot!
I don't think the tables are under $25 after 8pm?
I'll designate $500 and screw with the $50-$100 slots..They pay!

Sapphire Club....

I won't look at strip clubs in Michigan the same again!
Cheetahs :jawdrop2: ^same as above^

Great advice guys, thank you.

We are def. renting a car and driving to the canyon.
All the casinos have free Valet..Just have to tip the guy a couple of bucks.

Watch those, they measure tire rubber before letting you take it out and have TONS of restrictions on them. I looked into renting a viper for a day. It was SUPER limited by all the freaking rules. Wasn't worth the trouble. I am pretty sure mileage was limited as well. Didn't allow for a 24hr blast through the desert like I was planning. I would've gotten out of the strip and run out of mileage. :banghead:

These two young guys rented the yellow Viper, but they stayed on the strip. I saw them 3 times in one day and that would be no fun. Viper, in bumper to bumper traffic.....no thanks. I'd want to run that thing out in the desert as well.

BTW...the guy said the Z06 was a 2005. Did they even make the Z06 in a 2005 model? I thought the first year in the first year of Z06's in the C6 style was 2004.

ARIA is done, that's the hotel portion. I heard that the Dubai crowd was suing due to lack of progress but that it's settled and back on track.

I got an email today from ARIA, $139 rooms during the week, $109 on Sunday. Might be interesting to check out next time I'm there. We go 3-4 times a year. I like Vegas. :D

The last time I was in Vegas David Copperfield was giving a show. While I didn't see him in Vegas I caught one of his shows in New Mexico and it was Awesome. If he's performing, I'd definitely check that out.

City Center is open and is very nice. My parents stayed there last time and we checked it out. The Mandrin has a nice bar on the 22nd floor.
