MY 1969 MUSTANG RESTORATION - PICTURES (NOT DIALUP FRIENDLY)

I'm adding some to mine, but it doesn't seem to fit flush with the toe pan. Did yours take alot of work to get them flush?

both the front torque boxes are new... that is just surface rust that will be sandblased when he does the engine compartment.

the torque boxes i the front tie into the frone frame rail, the floorboard and a support that goes over to the rocker panel. it is a thick piece of metal.

It did fit flush with the toe pan.

I bought all the parts from www.npdlink.com
they are relatively close to work and have everything i need. They are not cheap parts from asia, they are actually nice quality parts.

I'll see if I can get a few pics of the torque box.

Doors are stripped, original door skins are removed (the cost was the same to replace the outer door skins or have the stock ones patched (again)). I choose to replace rather then go over someone else's work. Inner door shells are sandblasted, primed, rustproofed.
Outer door skins should go on this week.
The Paint is a KICK ASS color. He sprayed the door jams and cowl.

Gulfsteam Aqua FTW!

I have pics, but they aren't on line.

Yeah, NPD is where I've been buying all of my sheetmetal also. I just bought the full front aprons etc...nice fit. Any close up pics would be great!

MM removed the picture hosting feature and I'm too lazy to put them elsewhere.

Bought new door skins, they are installed (full skins, not patches)
The engine compartment is sandblasted and primed (looks nice)

I have new front suspension (springs, shocks a-arms ball joints, etc... ) painted and ready for install.
I still have to paint the front calipers and brake parts (converted from front drum to disk)

the body guy has been dragging his feet the last month, time to head over there and get him going again.

ugh.... I forgot when Brandon changed servers/updated, it erased all the pictures.

I need to update these.
I haven't done much... added new front suspension, Disc brake conversion kit, sealed up all the welds (floor boards, inner wheel wells, trunk floor.

Next up is the engine compartment, it was primed, but then undercoated, then sand blasted, now it will be chassis black, along with the front and rear inner wheel wells.

Then there is a sub frame (stock) that needs to be redone (it was replaced, but for some reason doesn't line up perfectly with the other side. (only cosmetic, not structural)

The motor has been done, (302, decent cam, ported heads, fresh rebuild, high volume oil pump) Nothing radical, just a little something.

I really need to get back on this project and wrap it up.
