Mustang wont start by ign switch

Just got the trans back in and went to start the car. It wont crank by the key but will jump at the solenoid. It has some old alarm that I need to unhook but it has a bypass button under the dash. It always started with the bypass until now. There is a wiring harness that plugs in the side of the aod is that the neutral park switch ?

Can it only plug in one way ? Kinda hard to see what I'm doing I just plugged it in ?

Thanks Mitch I jumped the harness and it started so I guess the switch must be bad ? Looks like it might be a tight fit to change it while in car ?

You shoukld be able to change it in the car no problem.
