the wiring harness and dash in my car were transplanted directly from an 89 car. i've been going through the harness and simplifying it. i've already removed about 50' of wire that was just redundant or didn't connect to anything.
there's an 8 pin flat connector that's yellow in color and looks just like the connectors for the cruise control amplifier, which i don't have. already cut the wiring for the cruise control out, but i can't figure out what the hell this connector is for, and there's nothing to connect it to. pretty much all the wires going to it are from the EEC harness (gray/yellow, orange/blue, orange/black) and a few others that i dont' know the function of.
it's on the driver's side near the harness exit thru the firewall. can i just cut the wires out and take it out? it doesn't seem to do a damn thing....
the entire harness is unloomed and the dash is removed.
